VANILLA EXTRACT

Pure vanilla extract is made from vanilla beans, the fruits of a climbing orchid native to Mexico and central America.
Vanilla Extract is made by cutting cured vanilla beans into small pieces which are placed in a solution of not less than 35 per cent ethyl alcohol and heated in a percolator.
Dextrose, sucrose, or glycerin may be added at the end of
the extraction process to prevent precipitation and to
preserve the flavor and aroma.
